A wheelchair marathon for people with physical disabilities was organized in Kathmandu today.
The marathon, organized by the BIA Foundation, began in Bhrikutimandap. It proceeded past Bhadrakali, Shahid Gate, New Road Gate, Ranipokhari, Jamal, Durbar Marg, and ended at Bhrikutimandap.
Over 200 participants took part in two marathons organized separately for men and women.
The winners, first runner-ups, and second runner-ups received Rs 25,000, Rs 15000, and Rs 10,000, respectively.
