The first match of Hong Kong Men’s T20I Series between Nepal and Hong Kong, China has been abandoned due to rain. Both the teams shared a point each.
Now Nepal will play their next match against Papua New Guinea on Tuesday.
Earlier this day, Nepal won the toss and chose to bowl. Hong Kong were 65 for the loss of 2 wickets before the match was interrupted by the rain. Hong Kong opener Martin
Coetzee was taken by Gulshan Jha in Karan KC’s first bowl of the inning.
Hong Kong Captain Nizakat Khan and Anshuman Rath led the inning with 25 and 36 runs respectively. Khan was bowled by Gulshan Jha after the match resumed after rain interruption.
The rain continued so the match was abandoned.
