
Kathmandu, March 11: The Supreme Court has ordered a full hearing on the writ petition filed against Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane.
The SC issued such order on the writ petition filed against the decision of the Office of the Attorney General to withdraw the case related to cooperatives fraud and money laundering charges.
A division bench of the Justices—Sapana Pradhan Malla and Shrikant Poudel, ordered that the matter be presented for a full hearing on March 15, shared SC Spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala.
Attorney General Sabita Bhandari had on January 14 decided to withdraw the case at a time when the case was under consideration in SC.
Law practitioners including Senior Advocate Dinesh Tripathi had filed a writ petition at SC against the decision of Attorney General Bhandari.
