A Manang Air helicopter that has been out of contact since Tuesday morning has crashed in Lamjura, Solukhumbu.
Mina Karki Basnet, Chairperson of the Likhupike Rural Municipality, informed that the helicopter was discovered crashed near the Lamjureko danda in Bhakanje, Likhupike - 5.
Chopper having call sign 9N-AMV en route to Kathmandu from Surke of Solukhumbu went out of contact at 10.01 AM.
Six people including the pilot were on board.
According to the spokesperson at the Tribhuvan International Airport Teknath Sitaula, the craft was in contact while it reached Lamjura.
