The dentistry OPD service at Chitwan Medical College has been halted following the suicide of a harassed student.
Simran Thapa, a BDS 4th year student, committed suicide in her room on Wednesday.
Demanding punishment for the allegedly guilty instructor, students of the college protested by shutting down the hospital's dentistry OPD on Thursday.
Thapa, who was sitting for the exam, felt harassed and killed herself after the teacher ordered her to leave the exam hall.
Protesting students informed that the medical college's whole OPD service will be halted indefinitely until the victim receives justice and the offender is punished.
