Ujjwal Sharma, Executive Director and Founder of Himalaya Times, has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Haryana, India, for treatment and has undergone successful surgery on radiculopathy.
According to his son Satyam Sharma Sapkota, a successful operation was also carried out on a neck nerve to halt brain hemorrhage. According to him, the cervical corpectomy was performed under the leadership of Dr. Sudhir Dubey was successful. Executive Director Sharma will have to remain under the doctor's supervision for a few more days.
Satyam informed that although the pain in his back has subsided, the pain is still there due to the surgeries. Executive Director Sharma, who has been undergoing treatment for nerve problems in Nepal for some time, had gone to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, a couple of weeks ago.
