Prime Minister and Chair of CPN (Maoist Centre) Puspa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said an independent person can also be the next President.
While the presidential election is the subject of discussion in politics currently, Prachanda presented his remarks on the topic while virtually briefing the party’s meeting.
Prime Minister Dahal talked about the bitter experiences the nation had to face previously having a politically active President, shared Samita Karki , central committee member of CPN (Maoist Centre).
Prime Minister Dahal said in the meeting that all parties have given him a vote of confidence, so a common President from Congress, UML, Maoist Centre or any other party, should be chosen by holding discussions among the parties.
