Elon Musk has termed the shutting down of Germany's last nuclear facilities as 'total madness' and called to reopen the ones that have already been closed.
"This is total madness. I want to be clear. Total madness," remarked Musk, "I want to be super clear. In my opinion, Germany should not only not shut down the nuclear power plants, it should reopen the ones that are shut down."
He told Welt that this move also imposes a national security risk to Germany, as 'play time is over' in today's world.
Musk added that coal power plants, because of their emissions, are far more dangerous than nuclear ones.
