The Rastriya Swatantra Party will continue to back the Prachanda-led government.
The party's central committee meeting on Monday made this conclusion. The conference resolved to keep supporting the government.
Kabindra Burlakoti, the party's joint-general secretary, stated that both the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress have sought for assistance in the upcoming presidential election, but no decision has been made.
RSP decided to quit the government on February 5, while maintaining its support for the government, after Prime Minister Dahal refused to hand over the Ministry of Home Affairs to the party .
