Actor Paul Shah who was imprisoned for child sexual abuse, has been released.
He was released from prison on Monday, following a hearing of appeals filed against the District Court's ruling in the case by the Pokhara High Court.
Previously, Shah was convicted of child sexual abuse and sentenced to two and a half years in prison by the Nawalpur District Court.
On February 27, last year, Shah surrendered to the District Police Station in Tanahun after being accused of raping a minor.
Outside Tanahun jail, supporters have gathered to greet Paul Shah.
