The police manhandled Dr. Janith Lal, a medical doctor at the National Trauma Center, accusing him of walking on the road during Presidential motorcade, on Friday.
There was scuffles between the police and doctors in front of the National Trauma Center that resulted in a roadblock.
The police had cleared the road for President’s motorcade. President Bidya Devi Bhandari traveled to address the Federal Parliament.
Doctors have raised their voices against the incident.
