French team arriving to problem shoot passport server issue

A technical team from France is arriving to sort out storage issue seen for the past few days in the electric passport server system.

According to Director and Spokesperson of Department of Passports, Drupada Sapkota, the foreign team assigned with the responsibility of dealing with all technical system in the issuance of e-passport is expected to arrive by Monday.

The Department is itself trying to sort out the issue and some improvements have been possible.

Following the technical disturbance in issuing the e-passport, passport applicants have been urged to visit the Department once they receive a text/ message in their mobile phone.
