Senior leader of the Nepali Congress and member of the House of Representatives (HoR), Ramchandra Poudel, has expressed doubt over the sustainability of the recent political alliance that formed the government.
Addressing a cultural programme- Tamu Lhosar celebration- at Bandipur of Tanahu district on Friday, senior leader Poudel reminded the past betrayal among the present alliance partners and argued whether the alliance would sustain for long.
The alliance made in a bid to secure posts would not ensure durable government for country, he stressed.
"Nepali Congress always advocates for political stability and good governance by staying in opposition," he said, underscoring the need for national consensus. He urged all political parties to be ready for national consensus. Country needs consensus, senior leader Poudel viewed.
On a different note, leader Poudel said Nepal is made rich with its language, culture, and nature.
