National Flag Day celebrated today in Kathmandu. With the initiation of Rastriya Dharohar Sanrakshan Pratisthan Nepal, a rally was held from Maitighar to Basantapur.
On 16 December 1962 Nepal registered it's flag in the UN. Since 2075 B.S. this day is being celebrated as National Flag Day . Pratisthan demands recognition for this day as a National day from the government.
