
Kathmandu, July 30: Home Minister Sudhan Gurung is set to travel to conflict-hit Sunsari today.
Minister Gurung has planned to travel to Dewangunj Rural Municipality-3, Kaptangunj in Sunsari after a meeting with Prime Minister Balendra Shah at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Thursday.
According to the Prime Minister's Office, Minister Gurung is scheduled to meet the families of Om Prakash Mehata, who died in a clash in Sunsari on July 26 and Jaya Prakash Mehata, who sustained injuries in the same incident and breathed his last while undergoing treatment today.
Minister for Health and Food Safety Nisha Mehata is also travelling to Sunsari along with the Home Minster. Sunsari is the home district of minister Mehata.
