
The government has allocated Rs. 218 billion for education sector while Rs. 101 billion for health sector that also includes Rs. 15 billion allocated for health insurance.
Presenting the budget in a joint meeting of the federal parliament, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle announced that the budget aims to bring 90 percent of the population under the health insurance coverage in the next 3 years.
