Kathmandu, Aug 26: At least 19 motorable bridges have been damaged by devastating floods in Bhotekoshi-Trishuli river system.
According to Shubharaj Neupane, Deputy Director General and Spokesperson of the Department of Roads, efforts are underway to improve the status damaged roads and bridges with the help of heavy equipment and machinery.
Similarly, at least 40-kilometers of road sections have been damaged by the floods.
