Minister Pun Urges To Allocate 1% Of Capital Budget For Innovation

Kathmandu, June 12: Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Mahabir Pun, has urged the province and local governments to allocate one percent of their capital budget for science and innovation.

Minister Pun called for the province and local governments to formulate budget keeping in mind earmarking one percent of their capital budget received as grants on science and innovation for the sector.

Taking to his social media, he wrote, "Our ministry would take significant move to make the country prosper. I will ceaselessly put my efforts to hone the skills of the governments and citizens to apply science and technology for country's development".
