
Kathmandu, June 2: President of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane, who is in a five-day-long India visit, held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi today.
It is said that discussions were held on Nepal-India development partnership and strengthening people-to-people relations, as such relations have a crucial role in promoting growth and prosperity.
In his X account after the meeting, Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar mentioned that the discussions focused on the development partnership and people-to-people ties and expressed his pleasure to meet President Lamichhane and his delegation.
President Lamichhane-led delegation is in India from Monday. The other members of the delegation are Lamichhane's spouse Nikita Poudel, RSP Assistant General Secretary and House of Representatives (HoR) Member Bipin Kumar Acharya, RSP Secretariat Member and HoR Member Dipak Bohara and Personal Secretary Pradip Acharya.
