
Kavrepalanchowk, March 27: An employee with the Division Road Office, Bhaktapur died when the flood-fed Roshi Rivulet took him away following Friday evening rainfall.
Kunsang Tamang, aged around 40, of Roshi Rural Municipality-7 died in the flooding, informed the Area Police Office, Mangaltar.
Mangaltar police chief, Inspector Iswor Karki informed it has been found from the preliminary investigations that the office supervisor Tamang was a person permanently working for the under-construction BP Highway at night.
According to him, Tamang was swept away by the flood when he was trying to rescue two people on motorbike who were about to cross the river at night.
Police reported that the flood carried away one motorcycle and one electric vehicle.
