
Kathmandu, Feb 2: The Election Commission (EC) has stated that printing of 3 million ballot papers for the first past the post (FPTP) electoral system was completed so far for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) elections scheduled to be held for March 5.
According to the EC, the ballot papers for the FPTP system for 25 districts were printed.
Likewise, the EC stated that nearly 1.1 million sample ballot papers are being printed for the voters' education purpose.
The Election Commission stated that the ballot papers have been printed at Janak Education Materials Limited, Bhaktapur.
Printing of ballot papers for the proportional representation (PR) system has already been completed, the EC said.
EC Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai shared that a total of 28,030,000 ballot papers for the PR system were printed.
