Taplejung, Oct 26: Pathibhara temple, one of the famour religious site of Koshi, saw a large number of devotees on Saturday. This was the highest in terms of numbers this season, according to the Pathibhara Area Development Committee.
A total of 6,393 devotees visited Pathibhara on a single day on Saturday. Devotees stood in queue from 3:00 am to 3:00 pm to offer prayers at the revered shrine. Though pilgrims visit Pathibhara throughout the year, the number is usually high during Dashain-Tihar festival.
According to the committee, 29,174 devotees had visited the temple earlier in the month of Asoj (mid-September to mid-October. Similarly, a large number of devotees were seen in Pathibhara since morning, shared the committee's executive director Prajin Hangbang.
