
Rasuwa, Oct 7: Twelve trekkers stranded in the Langtang region have been safely rescued by the Nepali Army and other security agencies.
Among the 16 trekkers from Bhaktapur, four went missing in the flood, and the remaining were safely rescued by the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and the Armed Police Force Nepal.
They were brought to Syaphrubesi after the rescue.
The police have said that those rescued have all been sent to Kathmandu. Bhaktapur residents Sanskriti Shrestha, Kisan Shrestha, Sangita Shrestha and Ravi Shrestha, who were on the Langtang trek, are missing since Saturday.
