Moderate Rainfall Likely Across The Country

Kathmandu, Aug 30: The low pressure trough of the monsoon at present is located towards north from average position in the east and around average position in the west.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has indicated generally cloudy weather across the country this afternoon.

Moderate rainfall is likely to occur in some parts of Terai and hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as in a few places in the remaining hilly regions, including Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and in one or two places in the Terai region.

The division has forecast generally cloudy weather across the country tonight.

There is a possibility of moderate rain in some places of the hilly regions of all provinces and in a few places of the Terai region, the weather forecasting bulletin stated.
