The government will provide Rs 5,000 as a Dearness Allowance to government employees from the upcoming fiscal year.
Presenting a budget for coming fiscal year 2025/26 in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament today, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel mentioned that the dearness allowance has been increased to five thousand rupees.
The government has not increased the salaries of government employees in the budget for the fiscal year 2082/083.
