A one-day Teachers’ Training on Basic Eye Treatment has been successfully conducted in Panchkhal Municipality with an aim to equip schoolteachers with the necessary skills to screen students’ eye health effectively.
The event was organized and conducted by the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology with support from the Panchkhal Municipality, Grande Social Fund, and Sight Group.
30 teachers from 16 schools participated, receiving toolkits to conduct student eye screenings—the first such initiative in the district.
Certificates were awarded by the Chief of the Education Department, and the event concluded successfully with active participation from local stakeholders.
