
Kathmandu, May 14: A woman died in a fire that occurred this morning in Makhantole, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-24. Police confirmed that the fire erupted due to a leak in an LP gas cylinder.
Spokesperson of District Police Range, Kathmandu Apil Raj Bohara stated that the woman died in the fire that took place in the house of Dayaram Shrestha.
The identity of the deceased person has not been ascertained yet. "The dead body is found. It is yet to be ascertained. The efforts to douse the fire are ongoing," Bohara said.
Likewise, the fire has spread to the immediate neighbouring house, according to the police.
