TikTok has begun testing a new platform called "TikTok For Artists," aimed at helping artists build their careers.
This new platform provides artists with tools to promote their songs, understand performance metrics, and engage with their audience.
The "TikTok for Artists" website explains that artists will be able to use the platform to organize campaigns for promoting their upcoming artistic works and to promote themselves on social media platforms. Additionally, artists can launch engagement campaigns with their fans, such as album campaigns to encourage pre-orders of new songs on platforms like Apple Music and Spotify, or to release exclusive products.
Artists will also have access to performance data to understand the success of their posts and songs.
The tech-focused website "TechCrunch" noted that the new platform is currently operating in a trial phase in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia. TikTok aims to make it available in additional markets in the future, with plans to launch it to a broader user base.
