Kathmandu, March 1: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is cutting the power supply for five hours at Satungal area of Kathmandu Valley today.
The distribution of electricity under Balambu feeder will be disrupted at Kanchan Gate, Bosigaon, Bauthali and Satungal Chowk for to carry out works on capacity enhancement of conductor.
The interruption continues for five hours from 11:00am, NEA said, apologizing with consumers for the inconvenience caused.
The consumers have been requested to complete essential works before outage.
Similarly, the Mulpani substation construction project has informed that the electricity will be cut off from the distribution centres of Baneshwor, Maharajgunj, Ratnapark, Jorpati, Balaju and Kuleshwor as well.
The interruption will be in force till evening, NEA informed by issuing a notice.
