Bhairahawa (Rupandehi), Feb 20: Prakriti Lamsal, who was found dead at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India, was cremated at Swargadwari Ghat here.
Her body was taken to Swargadwari funeral site after circumambulating Bhairahawa.
Nepali students studying in KIIT from Siddharthanagar were also present in the funeral procession. His grandfather Devnath Lamsal had lit fire in pyre.
Her body was brought from Odisha on Wednesday. Lamsal, who was born in Bhairahawa on 4 Asar 2061 BS, passed away on last Febraury 16 (Sunday). Her body was found hanging in the KIIT hostel.
