Kathmandu, Jan 15: The District Court Kathmandu has ordered to release Rabi Lamichhane, Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, on bail of Rs 6 million regarding cooperative scam.
A single bench of Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari issued the order. A case was filed against Lamichhane over misappropriation of savings of Swarnalaxmi Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
On the behalf of Lamichhane, senior advocates-- Sushil Panta and Raman Shrestha had debated the case.
