Action will be taken against those involved in flying kites, drones and balloons in and around the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
Airport Chief and General Manager Jagannath Niraula said that the airport has prohibited flying drones, balloons and laser lights in and around the airport as it could have a serious impact on the flight safety.
"We have urged not to do such activities as it could have a serious impact on the flight safety of the aircraft", he said.
Strict action will be taken as per the prevailing law if such activities are found in defiance. With Dashain approaching, the act of flying kites and balloons is increasing in the area around the airport.
