There is possibility of heavy rainfall at different places as well as extremely heavy rainfall at some places of the country in the next three days, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
The Division has requested one and all to remain alert as extremely heavy rainfall was likely to take place especially during night in next three days.
Meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari shared that rainfall is likely to take place during night but there is no possibility of incessant rainfall.
Generally cloudy weather has been predicted across the country with the possibility of light to moderate rainfall along with thunder and lightning today night.
Adhikari further said heavy to extremely heavy rainfall has been forecasted at few places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two places of the remaining provinces.
According to the Division, light to moderate rainfall is now taking places at few places of Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati provinces and one or two places of the remaining provinces. Generally cloudy weather has been predicted on Tuesday afternoon throughout the country as well as light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places of all provinces.
Heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is likely to take at few places of Bagmati, Madhes, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and one or two places of the remaining provinces on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, the weather throughout the country would remain cloudy. Light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning would take place at few places of Madhes Province and some places of the remaining provinces in the afternoon.
Similarly, light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning has been predicted at few places of Madhes, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces as well as heavy rainfall at one or two places of Koshi, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces in the night.
