
Unidentified persons abducted an Indian army officer in India's northeastern state Manipur on Friday, local media reported.
The incident took place in Thoubal district of Manipur, from the house of Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) Konsam Kheda Singh, according to an online report published by India Today.
The officer was on leave from duty when he was abducted from his home, added the report.
A search operation has been launched to rescue the officer.
