Traffic Police have requested residents not to bring their vehicles out until it is deemed necessary on Thursday.
The National Youth Federation of Nepal (NYFN) and Durga Prasain are planning a demonstration in several parts of the Kathmandu Valley on Thursday.
In anticipation of the protest's impact, security has been strengthened across the valley.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, the demonstration is expected to impede travel in the valley. Thus, citizens have been asked not to go out unless absolutely essential.
Similarly, traffic recommends phoning 100 or 102 and listening to Metro traffic FM 95.5 MHz ahead of time, since vehicle diversion can be performed at any moment and from any location to manage traffic and security.
