Former crown prince Paras Shah has been taken to the hospital.

Shah was brought to HAMS Hospital, Mandikhatar, on Friday after experiencing chest discomfort.

Hospital Director Dr. Jyotindra Sharma informed that Shah has no major health complications.

The decision was made to keep him under observation for the next 24-hours since he had previously experienced cardiac arrest and had an ICD implanted, Sharma added.

Former King Gyanendra Shah, Queen Komal, and Princess Himani Shah have reached the hospital to check on Paras.
