Six people fell sick in Manang district after the consumption of wasp.
The labourers working at Koto of Chame Rural Municipality-3 in the district had eaten the wasp by roasting them on Tuesday noon.
Those taken ill were Sete Tamang, Pahalman Thapa, Dal Bahadur Ale, Gunjman Thapa and Ban Bahadur Ale of Gorkha district and Leela Tamang of Udaypur district and Prem Bahadur Ghale of Dhading district, according to the District Police Office, Manang.
DSP Nabin Kumar Bhandari shared that all sick labourers who were of age 35 to 48 years had been receiving treatment at Lamjung District Hospital. All of them are unconscious at present, DSP Bhandari said.
They had experienced bulging sensation in their chest and heart initially and later all over the body, he added.
