Vehicle carrying employees of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) plunged into the Sunkosi River at Laukun in Golanjor Rural Municipality-7.
According to officials, three employees were missing after the vehicle driving from Bhaktapur to Khotang fell into Sunkosi from Laukun on the Ghurmi-Khurkot road segment of Madhyapahadi Lokmarg.
According to SP Rajkumar Silwal of the District Police Office in Sindhuli, the driver, Krishna Bahadur Chaudhary, managed to escape by swimming.
Silwal claims that the vehicle was totally submerged and could not be hauled out.
They are being sought by local and police authorities.
