CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli has said that one who consumes alcohol could not be called his party cadres or leaders.
In a meeting and training of cadres organized by UML's district committee Arghakhanchi as part of the 'Mission Grassroots' campaign of the party today, Chairperson Oli asserted, "If we come across a wobbly person on the way in the evening, consider that the person is not a UML cadre or leader. The cadres and leaders of the UML should be distinct in terms of how s/he speaks."
Stating that his party was working towards materializing 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepal' campaign, Oli shared that his party was building a national force to make the country corruption-free and ensure good-governance.
Oli urged the party cadres and leaders to be assured that his party would secure more than 51 per cent results in the upcoming local, provincial and federal elections through the Mission Grassroots campaign.
"It is unimaginable that the UML's cadres do not cast votes to their party despite personal differences."
On the occasion, Oli asked the cadres to iron out internal contradictions to give meaning to the campaign 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepal'.
