An Indian national was arrested along with 141 kilos of marijuana from the Nepal-India border in Birgunj a couple days ago.
Om Prakash Singh, 27, from East Champaran, Motihari of Bihar was caught from the border area on the charge of his involvement in marijuana smuggling.
Acting on a tip-off, police took a parked truck with an Indian number plate under control and confiscated the contraband, according to District Police Office Parsa information officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Giri.
The arrested is under investigation following a permission from the District Court, Parsa.
