The second is about a wealthy businessman who didn't have a son. A son was born after a long wait, but he died soon after. The son was reincarnated with the grace of Shiva and Parvati, according to the legend.

Any type of fasting has a direct impact on physical health. Fasting on occasions is beneficial to the body. The ancient Brahmins exploited the concept of fasting to entice everyone to follow them. This practice has been practiced for centuries since it promotes physical health and can be felt by the fasting individual.
