Maoists observed “People’s War Day”

The CPN-Maoist Centre today celebrated the 28th People's War Day.

People's War Day was celebrated in a special program organized at Paris Danda.

On the occasion, Prime Minister and Chair of Maoist Centre Puspa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' placed a wreath on the picture of Dil Bahadur Ramtel, the first martyr of the People's War, and paid respect to Martyr's Pillar.

Top Maoist leaders were also present in the program.

To mark “People's War Day,” the government has declared a nationwide public holiday.
