The government has announced a public holiday on the occasion of ‘People's War Day’.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, on Sunday, afternoon decided to declare a public holiday on Falgun 1 to commemorate People's War Day.
Earlier, Bagmati and Karnali provinces and CPN-Maoist-led local levels have announced the public holiday.
The people's war started by then Maoists on Falgun 1, 2052 that transformed into a detailed peace agreement on 2063.
