Nepali National Women Football team will leave for India on Monday for the FIFA friendly matches to be played against India on Feb 15 and 18ths in Chennai.
Today, ANFA bid farewell to the 30-member squad, which included 23 players, and wished them luck in the tournament.
Commenting over the team’s preparations, the head coach Ananta Raj Thapa said the “Team combination is good,” hoping to a competitive match between the two nations. Though India is a well set and empowered nation in the South Asia in terms of women football, Nepal expects to find a happy ending, he added.
