CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that festivals and cultures of all nationalities and ethnic communities marked traditionally should be protected.
In a message of Sonam Lhosar today, the former PM said the festivals and cultures bearing unique features help contribute to unite the society in our multi-ethnic, multi-lingual and multi-cultural nation.
He has also said that such festivals and cultures have uplifted Nepal’s pride at the international level as well and has laid emphasis for the protection of such festivals from concerned communities.
In his message, Chairman Nepal has also expressed best wishes for happiness, peace, good health and prosperity to all Nepali sisters and brothers living in the country and abroad.
