A female died in a jeep accident at Hemja, Pokhara. Bolero jeep (Ga 2 cha 2684) loaded with oranges was travelling from Parbat. The jeep lost it’s balance causing the accident.
According to Kaski Police, 37 years old Basanti Magar lost her life in the accident. Injured Magar was rushed to Regional Hospital, where she died, during the treatment.
Another male passenger named Gajendra, resident of Myagdi, got injured in the accident. He is undergoing medical treatment at Gandaki Medical College.
The police furthermore informed that the jeep driver has fled away.
