Nepal progresses in hunger reduction, climbs 81st rank on 2022 hunger index

Nepal has made improvement to reduce hunger with a score of 19.1 in the 2022 Global Hunger Index (GHI), a drop from 21.2 in 2014. The country is ranked 81st out of the 121 countries, ahead of some South Asian
