Egypt’s Coppersmiths Struggle To Save Dying Craftsmanship

In one of the narrow alleys of the Al-Jamaliya neighborhood in Old Cairo, 65-year-old coppersmith Abdel-Nabi Hindawi was making a copper pot at his workshop amid an intense heat wave. The Egyptian artisan, who has been in the business for
