
Bagamati, March 28: The Hetauda Cement Industry, which had been shut down since September 9, 2025, has resumed clinker production. According to the Industry’s Information Officer, senior officer Hare Ram Acharya, preparations are underway to bring the product to market.
The industry currently has enough raw materials to sustain production for two weeks, and arrangements are being made to secure additional supplies.
Under normal conditions, the industry produces 700–800 quintals of cement daily. At present, it aims to see the production up to 600 quintals per day.
The industry was established in 2033 BS and began cement production in 2043 BS.
