
Kathmandu, Sept 1: A total lunar eclipse will be visible from Kathmandu on the full moon night of the bright fortnight in the month of Bhadra, which falls on Sunday, September 7.
According to the Nepal Calendar Fixing Committee, the eclipse will begin at 10:11 pm on September 7 and will last for three and half hours, concluding at 1:04 am on September 8.
This will be the first eclipse of the year 2082 BS in Nepal. The lunar eclipse always occurs in the full moon.
